Duxbury Boy Spots Man Stuck In Mud, Gets Help

DUXBURY (CBS) - An 11-year-old boy found a man stuck up to his waist in mud and got him help Saturday night in Duxbury.

Fire, police and Harbor Master units were called to the public landing at Old Cove Road around 8:30 p.m. Jack Ahrens spotted the man and alerted neighbors to call 911.

Fire officials say that a technical rescue trailer, which carries rescue tools and equipment and ice rescue suits, were used during the rescue.

The man was not hurt.
