Sean Grande's NBA Finals Preview: 'This Is A Special Golden State Team'

BOSTON (CBS) - 98.5 The Sports Hub's Sean Grande, the radio voice of the Boston Celtics, appeared in studio with Felger & Massarotti to help preview the NBA Finals.

"I expect [LeBron James] to be great in this series, but not good enough to beat one of the two or three best teams I've seen in the 17 years I've been in the league," Grande said matter-of-factly.

The Golden State Warriors finished the regular season with the NBA's best record, and have ripped through the league's most torrid conference with relative ease this postseason.

"I've been saying Golden State since December, and here we are going into the NBA Finals and I think Golden State is still alive. They have homecourt advantage, and in two weeks you (pointing to Tony Massarotti) will owe me an apology," Grande said. "[Warriors] are the best offensive team in the NBA and the best defensive team in the NBA. You are not choosing between them -- they are the same team."

Grande clearly believes Steve Kerr's Warriors have the on-court advantage, but he would not blink twice if Cleveland pulls it out.

"I'm not going to be shocked if Cleveland wins this series, because LeBron is that good. I just don't think this [Cavaliers] team is ready to win a championship just yet," Grande said. "I think give them another offseason, and who knows what's going to happen with Kevin Love, but I think Cleveland is going to be around it for the next couple of years because of the Eastern Conference."

Grande adds that this Warriors team is all in their prime, and if Cleveland is able to pull the upset it will be because Draymond Green is unable to keep LeBron James in check.

"This is a special Golden State team," Grande concludes.
