6 People, Dog Injured In Bourne Crash
BOURNE (CBS) – Six people and a dog were injured in a two-car crash in Bourne Monday afternoon.
The crash at the intersection of St. Margaret's St and the Route 6 & 28 Bypass involved a Chevrolet Silverado and a Hyundai Elantra. Five people in the Chevrolet were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Hyundai was cited for a red light violation and was also taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
A dog riding in the Hyundai was seriously injured and was transported by Bourne Natural Resources to Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists in Buzzards Bay.
