Jones: Did Gronkowski Expose Brady On SportsCenter?

BOSTON (CBS) -  Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski ran through "the car wash" Wednesday in Bristol, CT., appearing on multiple ESPN platforms to promote the Madden 2015 cover vote.

He would eventually lose out to Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., which is good news if you're a superstitious Patriots fan that believes in the Madden Curse, but Gronkowski's appearance on SportsCenter drew the attention of 98.5 The Sports Hub's Adam Jones and Rich Keefe.

Gronkowski gave Tom Brady his full support, but one of his answers about DeflateGate didn't exactly help Tom Brady out, according to the nighttime hosts.

"[Gronkowski] exposed Tom Brady with one of his answers," Jones said Wednesday night.

Chris McKendry and Jay Crawford peppered the All Pro with numerous questions regarding the drama, which got quite awkward after awhile, but one question in particular about Gronkowski's familiarity with Patriots employees Jim McNally and John Jastremski raised eyebrows.

Brady, as it was revealed in the Wells Report, did not know the name of Jim McNally, the locker room attendant who called himself "The Deflator" in a text message.

Gronkowski, who's not exactly a Mensa member, said he knows McNally and John Jastremski, an equipment assistant.

"I know everyone in the organization. You're there every single day for seven months throughout the season. Everyone is good people out there in the locker room and everyone is good people in the organization," he said.

"Gronk -- meathead Gronk -- knows everyone in the organization. He knows them all. And now Tom Brady all of a sudden, who's been there longer than Gronk, [doesn't]?" Jones asked dubiously. "We're supposed to believe Tom Brady didn't know who Jim McNally was?"
