Wellesley Crash Leaves Car In Precarious Position

WELLESLEY (CBS) – No injuries were reported during a Wellesley crash that left a car wedged underneath a truck while tilted on two wheels.

Wellesley police said firefighters were on scene of the crash on Route 9 just after 2 p.m.

One eastbound lane was blocked as a result of the crash, and traffic delays followed.

Part of the car was pinned underneath the rear of a truck, which appeared to be carrying metal tanks. The truck had a flammable material sign on the side.

By about 2:45 p.m., firefighters had removed the car from underneath the truck, though they continued to work to clear the scene.
