70 Mass. Sites To Participate In Free Fun Fridays

BOSTON (CBS) – Several dozen cultural destinations in Massachusetts will be participating in the Free Fun Fridays program starting in late June.

Free Fun Fridays runs for 10 weeks, and 70 locations will be taking part in the program.

Seven locations will be open for free each Friday, including Franklin Park Zoo, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston's Children's Museum and the Rose Kennedy Greenway Carousel.

The locations kicking off the program June 26 include Tanglewood in Lenox, Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, The Mount: Edith Wharton's home in Lenox, Worcester Art Museum, MIT Museum in Cambridge, Peabody Essex Museum in Salem and the House of the Seven Gables in Salem.

The program is run by the Highland Street Foundation.
