James Taylor Debuts Song 'Angels Of Fenway' At Fenway Park

BOSTON (CBS) -- Legendary singer and songwriter James Taylor introduced his new song "Angels of Fenway" to a small audience at Fenway Park on Sunday.

The Boston born singer drew inspiration from the so-called Curse of the Bambino, and the Red Sox's eventual win 86 years later.

"Oh my God it was beyond belief," so the lyrics go. "Like a hungry dog on a bone, angels of Fenway."

The five-time Grammy winner will perform the song when he comes to concert at Fenway Park on August 6 with Bonnie Raitt.

The song and music video will be posted on RedSox.com on Monday.

The song will also be included in his upcoming album, set to be released on June 16.

Taylor also threw out the ceremonial first pitch at Sunday's game against the Yankees.
