Arrested Man Wears 'Stay Drunk' T-Shirt In Mug Shot

BANGOR, MAINE (CBS) -- If you're going to get arrested, try not to wear something that will make your mug shot go viral, Maine police say.

A photo released by Bangor police Tuesday shows a man standing for his mug shot in a T-shirt reading "Avoid Hangovers: Stay Drunk."

He was arrested the night before for criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, police said. The man's name was not released and police blacked out his face in the photo.

"Let this be a lesson to all of us," police wrote on Facebook. "Plan ahead, get a designated driver, do not commit crimes, always make sure that your choice of evening wear is appropriate for photo sessions."
