Adolfo Gonzalez Becomes Guest Of Honor At Local Wedding

BOSTON (CBS) -- Adolfo Gonzalez is a big hit thanks to his hard-hitting interviews around the city of Boston.

But he now has something new to add to his resume when he's not asking people, "What's in your stack?" or quizzing pink hats on their sports knowledge: Surprising a wedding party as the guest of honor.

Adolfo was requested, specifically requested, to take part in a couple's wedding over the weekend. His presence was a surprise from the bride to the groom, and when the newly married Benjamin saw Adolfo at his ceremony, he left his new wife to meet the special guest.

"I was beside myself. I left her halfway through the walkup to the dance floor," Benjamin told 98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher & Rich on Monday morning, as he and his wife, Susan, made their way through the airport en route to their honeymoon. "The only thing that could have made it better was him holding a Wallach head."

Benjamin said Adolfo -- dressed in jeans and a denim shirt -- didn't have to do many introductions during the ceremony, as many of the guests were already familiar with who he was.

"It was great. He should have been part of the receiving line," the new groom joked.
