Man Shot, Killed At Worcester Apartment Party
WORCESTER (CBS) -- One man was shot and killed in a Worcester apartment early Sunday morning, according to police.
Police responded to a call around 5 a.m. of gunshots at an apartment on Narragansett Ave. They also received a report from a local hospital of a 28-year-old woman who arrived to the emergency room with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
At the apartment, police found 27-year-old Christian Omar Puello-Rosado of Worcester dead from an apparent gunshot wound. No one else was in the apartment, which was littered with empty beer bottles.
According to police, the incident occurred after an argument at a party in the apartment escalated and shots rang out. According to witnesses, people at the party immediately fled the scene. The injured woman's friend transported her to the hospital.
There have been no arrests.
