Report: Brandon Browner Visiting With Saints
BOSTON (CBS) -- After losing Darrelle Revis on Tuesday, the New England Patriots may be losing corner Brandon Browner in the near future.
Browner, who became a free agent Tuesday when New England declined to pick up his option for 2015, is scheduled to visit with the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday.
The Saints freed up plenty of salary on Tuesday when they dealt tight end Jimmy Graham to the Seattle Seahawks, but are not the only team interested in Browner. Washington, Baltimore, Cleveland and Jacksonville are also interested, according to Pro Football Talk.

The 30-year-old Browner was a physical presence in the New England defensive backfield in 2014, making 25 tackles and one interception in nine regular season games. He made seven tackles and defended one pass in three playoff games, and he'll forever be on tape occupying Jermaine Kearse at the line of scrimmage on the play that ended with Malcolm Butler's goal-line interception to win Super Bowl XLIX.
In declining Browner's option, the Patriot saved $4.8 million towards the salary cap for 2015.
