Chocolate Therapy
Framingham, Dedham

Kicking off the Great 8 is Chocolate Therapy in Framingham and Dedham. This unique chocolate shop takes decadent truffles and infuses them with healing powers. So if your blood pressure is high, you can nibble on a Pombom, filled with antioxidant rich pomegranate. If you have a headache, try a taste of their chocolate called The Cure. The products are all listed in a handy guide aimed to help soothe whatever ails you.

The Spot
Norwood

The Spot in Norwood is a bagel bakery, a sandwich shop, a convenience store, and a candy shop all rolled into one. If you want something chocolaty, fresh-baked, and truly over the top, order the Fluffernutter Bagel. It's a toasted chocolate chip bagel topped with homemade fresh-ground peanut butter, Fluff and Nutella. It tastes as good as it sounds.

The Holy Donut
Portland, Maine

Another Great 8 winner is The Holy Donut in Portland, Maine. Customers line up at this one of a kind donut shop because their deep-fried beauties are unlike anything you've ever experienced. Each delicious, gourmet donut is made with a mashed potato base and they're available in fun flavors like Coffee Brandy, savory Bacon and Cheddar, and for all you chocolate lovers - Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt.

Cakes By Erin
Haverhill

Cakes by Erin in Haverhill is the brainchild of the uber talented Erin Erler, who's considered one of the top custom-cake bakers in the country. When she's not making insane creations for celebrities like Conan O'Brien and Seth MacFarlane, she's crafting indulgent treats like her Chocolate Death Roll. It triples the sweetness, featuring chocolate cake covered with chocolate buttercream, that's rolled up, sliced, and covered with chocolate ganache.
