Solutions Sought For Somerville's Space Saver Graveyard
SOMERVILLE (CBS) -- Space savers are piling up like snowbanks in the city of Somerville.
Unlike Boston, Somerville does not allow residents to hold onto parking spaces they've shoveled out with space savers. City workers have been gathering up the chairs, traffic cones, buckets and whatever else has been found in the streets and storing them in a lot for weeks.
Now the question is, what's going to happen to all those space savers?

Somerville officials say they would welcome imaginative solutions from residents.
"We're always looking to be creative so anything's on the table (big or small)," Jackie Rossetti, a spokeswoman for the city, told WBZ-TV.
Anyone who wants to submit an idea can email Mayor@somervillema.gov, or call 311 (617-666-3311 from outside Somerville city limits).
