MILLIS (CBS) – Four people were arrested early Tuesday morning after an attack in MetroWest.

Millis police say a woman called 911 around 1 a.m. saying her friend was being beaten near the intersection of Milliston Road and Main Street.

The victim, an unidentified man, was rushed to Tufts Medical Center on a MedFlight rescue helicopter.

Police told WBZ-TV his injuries were serious, but not life-threatening.

The four suspects – Ephraim Hunter of Millis, Xavier Frederick and Leonard Ward of Stoughton, and Devin Connolly of Canton – were found in a van near the scene of the attack, police said.

All four will be arraigned in Wrentham District Court Tuesday on charges related to the assault.
