BOSTON (CBS) – They finally played the Beanpot Championship Monday night at the Garden.

Bad weather delayed the game for two weeks, but it was worth the wait.

Boston University outlasted Northeastern 4-3 in overtime.

Bruins draft pick and Charlestown native Matt Grzelcyk scored the power play winner less than a minute into the extra session.  It was his second goal of the game.

This is the 30th Beanpot title for Boston University.

Northeastern hasn’t won the tournament since 1988.

Boston College beat Harvard 3-2 in overtime in the consolation game.
