Carver Police Rescue Swan In Snow Bank
CARVER (CBS) -- A swan was rescued from the frigid temperatures in Carver Saturday.
A plow driver spotted the frozen swan sitting in a snow bank on the side of the road.
Carver Police Officer David Harriman responded to the call and rescued the "cold and exhausted" swan.
This isn't Harriman's first save. In June 2014, he rescued a dog from a 2004 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck that was submerged in 8 feet of water.
Harriman brought the swan back to the station and kept it warm and fed until the Animal Rescue League picked it up.
