Woman Seriously Injured By Snowplow In Fitchburg
FITCHBURG (CBS) - A woman was seriously injured when a snowplow struck her Friday evening in Fitchburg, police say.
Police were called to Upham Street at 6:30 p.m. on a report of a pedestrian accident.
A 21-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries.
She was taken to a Leominster hospital and then transferred to UMass Medical Center.
As of 9 p.m., police said no charges have been brought against the driver.
No additional information was immediately available.
