BOSTON (CBS) – Boston residents are the healthiest in America, one study finds.

BetterDoctor, a website that helps patients find doctors, used various data to rank the healthiest and unhealthiest cities in America.

The data includes the percentage of the city’s population with health insurance, doctors per 1,000 residents, and the percentage of doctors who the site ranks highly.

Boston topped the healthiest cities list with an overall score of 74.53, topping Minneapolis, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, and Hartford, Conn.

“Boston has the highest percentage of the population with health insurance of any city we analyzed. Programs like Northeastern’s Healthy Kids, Healthy Futures show that this university town’s colleges contribute to the wellness of Boston’s residents and youth,” BetterDoctor wrote.

Memphis, Tenn., was named the least healthy city in the country, with Oklahoma City, Louisville, Ky., San Antonio, and Nashville rounding out the bottom five.
