1 Killed, 2 Hurt In Avon Crash
AVON (CBS) -- One person was killed and two were injured in a two-car crash in Avon early Sunday morning, police said.
The crash happened at about 3:30 a.m. on Route 24 southbound, about a mile before Exit 18. Massachusetts State Police said the driver of a Dodge Charger was taken to a Brockton hospital and pronounced dead.
Two others in a 2007 Chrysler 300 were hospitalized with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police did not immediately release further details about the crash or the victims.
