NASHUA, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire woman charged with second-degree murder in the beating death of her 3-year-old daughter will make her first court appearance.

Prosecutors say 25-year-old Katlyn Marin assaulted the child, Brielle Gage, numerous times on Nov. 24 and 25.

Brielle died shortly after being rushed to a hospital Nov. 25. An autopsy determined she died of blunt force injuries.

Marin is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in district court in Nashua, where she formerly lived.

The attorney general's office announced Marin's arrest Saturday.

It was not immediately known if she is being represented by an attorney.
