BOSTON (CBS) — It’s still unclear if the Patriots starters will play (or for how long) against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, but we know two players who won’t be suiting up for the regular season finale.
Running back Jonas Gray and corner Alfonzo Dennard were both ruled out for Sunday’s game on Friday. Gray is nursing an ankle injury and did not participate in Friday’s practice session at Gillette after being limited in the team’s two previous practices this week. He ran for five yards and a touchdown on six careers in last week’s win over the New York Jets.
Fellow running back LeGarrette Blount was limited again at Friday’s practice with a shoulder injury, as was Shane Vereen (ankle). Tackle Sebastian Vollmer was a new addition to the practice report on Friday after being limited with a back injury. All three players are among the 15 Patriots listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.
