Mary Lou Lord is a Boston music survivor. Her first involvement with music was as a DJ with a local college radio station. Soon she began busking on the streets of Boston and London.
A chance encounter at iconic Boston nightclub, The Rat, with Nirvana's Curt Cobain eventually opened doors to music scene heavies and a shot at the big time.
A few years and many gigs later, Lord is still creating music, and still a bona fide member of the Boston music scene, with a new album on the way.
Mary Lou it a true artist in that she creates music not because she wants to, but because she has to. It is as necessary to hear as breath itself.
