Gresh & Zo: Airing Sports Grievances On Festivus

Andy Gresh and Scott Zolak kicked off their annual tradition on Friday, the airing of sports grievances in the honor of Festivus.

Every year for the past five years, Gresh and Zo open up the airwaves to the listeners, allowing them to let loose on anything in the world of sports (or the world, in general) that is bothering them.

"In sports, there have been grievances that you've had, that you've had to sit on, that you can't get in on most days, to where you have to wait for a day like today," Gresh said. "And for those of you who have the pent-up frustration at whatever it is, whether it's an athlete, whether it's an organization, whether you want to get on fans (I'm sure I'll be getting on Bills Mafia at some point, although I air my grievances against them pretty consistently) today is your day."

Zolak got everyone in the spirit with a classic airport grievance. It's must-listen audio, but here's the best line: "Get on your flight."

Later, Jon Wallach took over the microphone to air his sports grievances.

"First and foremost, I'd like to say hello to all of those 'Bring Boston the Olympics,' those people. I'd like to say hello to all of those people who assaulted me on Twitter and in person and on text and on the phone," Wallach said. "It's fantastic! I think Boston would be the perfect place to have the Olympics ... if you want to sit in three hours of traffic every day to and from work. I think that's a brilliant idea."
