Two Arrested After Report Of Shots Fired Near Hooksett, N.H. Businesses

MANCHESTER (CBS) – Police arrested two people Wednesday afternoon after reports of shots fired near several businesses on the Hooksett-Manchester town line.

Manchester police said they were called at about 12:45 p.m. to the area of Poultry Products on Bemis Road in Hooksett for a possible active shooter.

Officers shut down several roads as Hooksett, Manchester and New Hampshire State Police set up a perimeter.

Police located and arrested two people in the area of Dunbarton Road and Hackett Hill Road.

According to police, the two men had long rifles and handguns on them when officers arrested them.

Shamus Rodriguez, 19, of Manchester, N.H., and Anthony Zappala, 23, of Merrimack, N.H., were each arrested and charged with felony reckless conduct, Manchester police said.

There were no injuries as a result of the shooting.
