Gresh & Zo: Which AFC Team Scares You The Most?

BOSTON (CBS) - Only four games left in the NFL regular season, so on Thursday afternoon 98.5 The Sports Hub's Andy Gresh and Scott Zolak started to break down the AFC playoff picture as it relates to the New England Patriots.

New England has beaten the division-leading Broncos, Bengals and Colts, but have also lost to tough Kansas City and Miami teams.

Currently there are six teams with 7-5 records in the conference, with San Diego -- New England's opponent this weekend -- holding a similar mark (8-4).

There's still a lot to be sorted out and plenty of things can happen between now and Week 17, but we have a big enough sample size now to pick which teams would give the Patriots the most trouble in the postseason.

Gresh and Zolak shared theirs on Thursday.

For Zolak, it's simple.

"Skill set. Skill set and quarterback, that's it. Done deal," Zolak said of the 9-3 Broncos.

Gresh doesn't think the Broncos could come into New England and win in January.

"I think one of the more underrated things come playoff time is the mentality of a particular team," Gresh explained. "The teams that have given the Patriots the most trouble are the teams who have come in here fearless and they don't buy into the hype, and don't fall into the trap."

Gresh points to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens as being one of those types of teams, and because the Patriots haven't played them there's also an element of surprise.

"I buy Baltimore more than I buy Pittsburgh right now because I don't believe in Pittsburgh's defense," added Zo.
