Season Doomed: 5 Patriots Spotted With Justin Bieber

BOSTON (CBS) - Instead of coming home to Foxboro after playing Sunday afternoon in Green Bay, the Patriots flew out to San Diego in preparation for the Chargers, who they'll face on Sunday Night Football.

The team had their usual Monday off, and with Los Angeles nearby, tight end Rob Gronkowski, running backs Shane Vereen and Jonas Gray and linebackers Akeem Ayers and Darius Fleming checked out the Clippers game.

After the 127-101 win over the Timberwolves, they were all invited inside the locker room by head coach Doc Rivers.

Also invited to the locker room festivities? Justin Bieber.

Here's a picture of the guys with the Biebs:

They also took a picture with point guard Chris Paul for good measure:

It's bad luck to have Justin Bieber around your professional team.

Getting ready for the Jets this season, the Steelers were "ambushed" by Justin Bieber at their team's chapel service the Saturday night before the game. New York would end up beating Pittsburgh, one of their only two wins this year.

But Pittsburgh was not the only team to suffer from the Bieber curse.

Hopefully the Patriots don't endure a similar fate.

98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher & Rich weighed in on the Curse Of Bieber Tuesday morning.
