On Tuesday, November 4th, 2014 the people of Massachusetts went out to the polls and voted for who they thought should be their next governor.
The victor was Republican Charlie Baker, who beat his main opponent Democrat Martha Coakley by a little more than 40,000 votes, making it the closest race to date, in the state’s history.
