BOSTON (CBS) -- With Zdeno Chara reportedly out at least 4-6 weeks after suffering a leg injury Thursday night, the Boston Bruins recalled a pair of defensemen on Friday.

Blueliners Joe Morrow and Zach Trotman have both been recalled from Providence on an emergency basis, Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli announced Friday morning. Morrow and Trotman will join the team in Boston for Friday's practice and will travel with the team to Toronto.
