Woman Hospitalized After Overnight Boston Shooting

BOSTON (CBS) – Officers responded to an overnight shooting in Boston on Friday that left one person injured.

Boston police confirmed that a woman was shot in the vicinity of 1033 Mass Ave. early Friday morning, though they did not say if they have a suspect in the incident.

Officers were on scene in the early morning hours on Mass Ave., where glass could be seen in the street after the woman's car window had been shot out.

The car involved reportedly fled the area towards Warren and St. James Streets after the shooting. The woman was transported by ambulance to Boston Medical Center.
