App To Pay Parking Tickets Debuts In Boston

BOSTON (CBS) -- A new app is aiming to make paying that parking ticket a little less painful.

Boston drivers can now make parking ticket payments on their phones by downloading the TicketZen app.

The app was created by Boston-based Terrible Labs through a partnership with the city.

It works by scanning the bar code on the ticket and then letting users enter and store their credit card information.

A three-month pilot program featuring the app kicked off Tuesday.
