Who doesn't like weddings? You get to eat, drink and dance with family and friends all in honor of a family member or friend who is tying the knot.
What could keep you from attending a family member's wedding? Not just any family member. Your brother. That's exactly what happened this weekend. Mark Wahlberg was not there when his brother Donnie married Jenny McCarthy in New York. So, why didn't he go?
Wahlberg released a video on Instagram with his family congratulating his brother and McCarthy. In the video, he claims they could not be there because they were celebrating his daughter's 11th birthday in Los Angeles. But, is that the whole story? TMZ is reporting that Wahlberg and his wife Rhea do not like McCarthy. Partly because of an interview she did with Howard Stern where she talked about Mark Wahlberg. Stern asked her if she had ever met him and if they approved of her. She said yes to both questions. Then went on to say how she thought she ended up with the better brother.
Whether he disapproved of his brother's soon-to-be wife or he wanted to celebrate his daughter's 11th birthday, are any of these good reasons to skip your brother's wedding? Is there ever a good reason to skip a family member's wedding?
