Heating Up...

We spent three straight days in the 70s here in Boston and now we are on the cusp of some heat. Temps will warm today and top out in the 85-90 degree range with increasing amounts of humidity.  The heat will continue to build tomorrow and many including Boston should touch or exceed 90 degrees.  That accomplishment is somewhat rare this year...it's only happened three times compared to 18 last year.  This particular heat spell will come to an end as a cold front slams through Wednesday night.  Preceding the front a strong line of storms is likely and will slice through New England tomorrow afternoon and evening.  There should be a pretty solid line of storms along it and damaging wind gusts are a concern along with torrential rain.

Storms Tomorrow
A line of powerful thunderstorms is likely tomorrow afternoon...they should hold off for Boston until later in the evening.
