FAIRHAVEN (CBS) – A man was arrested Monday morning after police say he stabbed his parents in Fairhaven.
Officers were called to the School Administration Building on Washington Street just after 9:15 a.m. and found a woman with a knife wound to her neck. Her husband was found at the house next door also suffering from stab wounds.READ MORE: Coronavirus In Massachusetts: Today's Developments
They were both taken to St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment. There’s no word yet on their conditions.
Officers then arrested a 27-year-old man, believed to be their son. He was also taken to St. Luke’s “suffering from minor injuries believed to have been sustained during the assault,” police said in a statement.READ MORE: Patriots Not Getting Too Far Ahead Of Themselves After Sixth Straight Win
No names have been released. Police said criminal charges “are imminent.”
