BOSTON (CBS) – The sun will be shining this weekend. So Dan Andelman of the Phantom Gourmet went on the hunt for summertime spots with great views and great food.

At Alma Nove in Hingham, Chef Paul Wahlberg presents Italian and Mediterranean cuisine with a side of spectacular views.

“We’re right in the Hingham Shipyard, right on the marina,” Wahlberg says. “We have an outdoor patio, overlooks the marina and all the boats coming in and out, it’s a beautiful location. It’s the prime location on the South Shore.”

Overlooking the Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy, the Tavern at Quarry Hills serves big shrimp cocktails and thin grilled pizzas with an unmatchable skyline view of Boston.

“There’s no better view,” says Granite Links Sous Chef Jean Joseph. “We’re 300 feet above sea level. Pretty much a full panoramic view at every seat. You get to see all of Boston.”

Pier 6 in Charlestown specializes in classic New England seafood which makes sense considering it’s located right on Boston Harbor

And if you’re looking for some food and fun under the sun, The Hot Dog Safari is Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. next to Fenway Park. All proceeds benefit The Joey Fund and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
