Attleboro Man Charged With Sex Assault, Hosting Teen Drinking Party

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (AP) — An Attleboro man has been arrested on assault and indecency charges after police say he sexually assaulted two under-aged girls and purchased alcohol for a party he hosted for teens.

Jonathan Silveira was arrested on Saturday as police responded to a disturbance at his apartment. Police said seven males fled.

Police say the 32-year-old Silveira also tried to flee.

Authorities say that during the party, Silveira exposed himself to one female and sexually assaulted two others. The girls were under 18.

Several male guests assaulted Silveira.

He was charged with assault and battery, breaking and entering, indecent assault and battery, procuring liquor for a person under 21 and keeping a disorderly and noisy house.

It was not known Monday if he's represented by a lawyer.
