Passenger Dead, 4 Others Injured In SUV Rollover In Canton

CANTON, Mass. (CBS/AP) — State Police say a passenger has died in a sport utility vehicle rollover and three others and the driver were injured.

Police say they responded to several calls of a single vehicle crash at 2:15 a.m. Sunday on I-95 near Canton. Affected parts of the highway were closed for about two hours.

Germaine Stokes, 45, of Tewksbury, was pronounced dead at Norwood Hospital.

The operator of the vehicle was identified as 23-year-old Sakeena L. Tarpley of Boston's Dorchester neighborhood. She was hospitalized with a non-incapacitating injury.

The three other passengers also had non-incapacitating injuries.

Police say the crash is being investigated.
