New Bedford PD Seeks Help Identifying Body Of Newborn
NEW BEDFORD (CBS) - Authorities have released new information about the body of a newborn found on County Street in New Bedford.
Officials say the infant has been identified as a white baby girl who weighed about six pounds.
Police say their investigation remains active and ongoing.
Investigators are renewing their call for the public's help in locating the mother of the infant, noting she could possibly be in need of medical attention.
