BOSTON (CBS) – Dozens of firefighters gathered inside a terminal at Logan Airport Thursday night to wait for family members of a fallen Boston firefighter to arrive.

A photo of the group of Massport firefighters emerged Friday morning.

According to Boston Fire Department Spokesperson Steve MacDonald, they were lined up in Terminal C to meet Lt. Edward Walsh’s mother-in-law and other family members, who arrived in Boston around 6:30 p.m.

Funerals for Walsh and and firefighter Michael Kennedy are being planned for next week.

The two were killed in the fire at a Beacon Street brownstone Wednesday.

A fund has been set up to help the firefighters’ families.
