Boyfriend Of Missing Fitchburg Boy's Mom Held On $250G Bail

WORCESTER (AP) — The boyfriend of a missing 5-year-old Fitchburg boy's mother has been ordered held on $250,000 bail in connection with the child's disappearance.

Alberto Sierra pleaded not guilty Thursday in Worcester Superior Court to a variety of charges including kidnapping of a child, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

The 23-year-old Sierra's lawyer said he no comment about the case outside of court.

Jeremiah Oliver was reported missing in December after relatives said they last saw him in September, and is feared dead.

His mother, Elsa Oliver, is scheduled to be arraigned Friday on charges including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and permitting an assault and battery on a child causing bodily injury.

They were indicted last week. Both pleaded not guilty in lower court.
