Felger & Mazz: March 11, 2014

Felger and Massarotti were joined by Jermaine Wiggins and the guys opened the day discussing the start of NFL free agency. Free agency begins at 4pm today. How big of a splash will the Patriots make in free agency? Should the Patriots trade for Darrelle Revis or wait for him to be released? Early reports said that the Patriots were ready to offer Julien Edelman a three-year deal, but the team wanted an answer before 4pm. A deal wasn't reached and Edelman will test the open market. How far apart are the two parties?

Hour 1

In Hour 2 of Felger and Mazz, the guys and Jermaine Wiggins continued to talk about the chances of the Patriots making a move for Darrelle Revis. The guys went on to play 10 Questions with Wiggy. Mike, Tony, and Jermaine continued to discuss the future of Julien Edelman. Could Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen be on the Patriots radar?

Hour 2

NFL free agency has officially begun! During Hour 3, Felger and Massarotti discuss the Patriots and their options. Should the Patriots trade for Darrelle Revis before he hits the open market after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cut him? Is Revis a better option over Aqib Talib? The Patriots have scheduled a meeting with Denver Broncos free agent linebacker Wesley Woodyard. If Edelman signs elsewhere, what other options do the Pats have? If Talib signs elsewhere, what other options will New England have? Finally, the guys discussed former Boston Bruins and current Dallas Stars forward Rich Peverley's cardiac event in last night's game. The game was postponed and Peverley is currently in stable condition.

Hour 3

In the fourth and final Hour, Felger and Mazz are still all over NFL free agency. How will the Patriots spend their money this off-season? To wrap the day up, we hear the Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
