NORFOLK (CBS) – A middle school cook is accused of threatening to shoot up the school over a batch of bad cookies.
Wendy Ferris, 46, a cafeteria worker at the King Philip Middle School in Norfolk, is charged with one count of threatening to commit a crime.READ MORE: Lawrence Teachers Will Rally Before School In Response To Increased Fighting
She was arrested at her home in Cumberland, Rhode Island Friday night and held over the weekend.
Ferris was arraigned in Wrentham District Court Monday afternoon. A judge ordered Ferris held on $5,000 bail.
Ferris’ husband Philip said there has to be more to the story.

Ferris said he hasn’t noticed any change in his wife’s behavior.
