Foxy Lady Raided For Selling Fake Boston Sports Merchandise

BOSTON (CBS) - A popular gentleman's lounge in Brockton was paid a visit by police and Homeland Security last week, who seized several boxes of counterfeit Boston sports merchandise.

Authorities say The Foxy Lady in Brockton was peddling fake team gear, including Patriots, Red Sox and Bruins t-shirts, in exchange for lap dances, according to the Boston Herald. Some employees were even wearing the counterfeit shirts when the authorities stormed the club last Friday.

Roughly $10,000 worth of counterfeit gear was seized in the raid, police told the Herald. According to the report, the club would buy the merchandise for $3-$5 each and then either sell them to customers for $10, or give them away for free with two lap dances.

The club's owner, Frank Caswell, did not comment, saying Homeland Security has instructed him not to speak about the case.
