Belichick On Non-Call: 'Talk To The League Office'
BOSTON (CBS) - Patriots head coach Bill Belichick didn't have anything to add about the controversial non-call from Monday night's loss to the Panthers on Tuesday morning, telling reporters to check with the league if they want an explanation.
"If you have any questions on that, you can talk to the league office and the officiating department, let them give their explanation on them. It's not really our job to call the game, it's to play it and coach it," Belichick said on his Tuesday morning conference call. "Whatever calls they make are the ones that we live with. We can't let that affect what we're doing, we just have to do continue to coach the techniques and do the things that are right and within the rules and assume that they'll be officiated accordingly."

Belichick and his Patriots weren't very happy following Monday night's 24-20 loss in Carolino, which ended with officials picking up a penalty flag on the final play of the game. New England had one final shot at the end zone when Tom Brady went looking for Rob Gronkowski, who was being mauled by Carolina linebacker Luke Kuechly.
The back judge threw a flag on the play, likely a holding of pass interference call, but head official Clete Blakeman deemed that Brady's throw was "uncatchable" and no penalty was called.
"It doesn't matter what I think," Belichick echoed on Tuesday. "It's whatever the officials think is the only thing that matters. It doesn't matter what any of us think. They're the ones who make the calls. It's their explanation and their judgment that we all have to abide by."

Instead of dwelling on the non-call, Belichick said he and is team is quickly moving on to next Sunday's opponent: the 9-1 Denver Broncos.
"We have to turn the page here quickly, get on to Denver. Good football team, playing well, obviously their record reflects that," said Belichick. "We have to correct some mistakes from the Carolina game but move on to Denver and have a good week of preparation and be ready to go next week."
