Driver In Wollaston Station Car Crash Dies

QUINCY (CBS) – The driver who crashed into the Wollaston MBTA station Thursday has died.

Transit police say Mary Mullaney, 78, of Quincy, passed away hours after she drove her car into the station entrance doors Thursday morning.

An autopsy was scheduled for Friday to determine the cause of death.

Authorities said she may have suffered a medical emergency at the wheel before the crash.

She was using oxygen at the time of the accident.

A 57-year-old man was hit by the car and ended up with some cuts and bruises.
