Boston Company Recalls Ready-To-Eat Chicken Salads

BOSTON (CBS) - A Boston company is recalling ready-to-eat chicken salads that may be contaminated with listeria.

Boston Salads and Provisions Company, Inc., says the chicken salads were sold under the names:

  • Boston Salads
  • Dietz & Watson
  • Market Source
  • Northern Haserot
  • Price Chopper
  • Rachael's Gourmet

The salads have a "sell by" date between September 13, 2013 through November 4, 2013.

Listeria can cause an infection with flu-like symptoms. It's most serious in people with weakened immune systems.
