Airports have cell phone lots.
Smokers have designated areas to light up.
Now, movie theaters may soon have texting aisles.
At least 3 chains, including AMC and Regal, are looking for a place to put people who just can't unplug during a movie.
And it looks the back row of the theater may be just the place.
AMC says it would soundproof its designated texting area and put a barrier to dim the light from smartphones.
This all comes on the heels of Madonna being banned at a Texas theater chain for texting during the premiere of a movie in New York.
Is it OK to text at movie theaters?
Or should there be a designated area for people to stay connected?
