LITTLETON (CBS) — An off-duty trooper arrested a New York man Saturday on Interstate 495 in a drug bust that snared about 1,700 oxycodone pills, the Massachusetts State Police reported in a prepared statement.

At about 7:40 a.m., Trooper Ryan Dolan was commuting home from the Athol barracks on I-495 northbound in Littleton, when he stopped a gray Ford van for motor vehicle violations.
