Registration Begins For Chance To Buy ALCS, World Series Tickets At Fenway Park

BOSTON (CBS) - Looking to buy tickets for possible American League Championship Series or World Series games at Fenway Park?

Registration for your chance to buy them begins at noon Thursday.

Fans can sign up at the Red Sox website, where they will be entered in a random drawing.

Here's how it works according to a Red Sox news release:

"Fans will be notified of their selection for ALCS games via e-mail on October 2. Those chosen will have a chance to purchase tickets for that series on Thursday, October 3 at noon."

"For those not selected in the random online drawing, or those without internet access, a limited number of tickets will be sold via automated phone (888-REDSOX6) beginning at 2 p.m. on October 3."

There's a four-ticket limit per fan. ALCS prices range from $55 to $230.

No tickets will be available at the Fenway Park ticket office.

The ALCS registration period ends at noon Monday.
