She has braces on her teeth and was last seen wearing a red sleeveless shirt, blue jeans and flip flops. She typically wears her sunglasses on her head.

The man she was with is white and heavy-set. He had slicked back hair and was wearing a "Sons of Anarchy" T-shirt.

Police say they have received numerous tips since images of the two were released Wednesday afternoon. Based on witness information, police believe the man may have been traveling in a blue or green minivan or small SUV. (Continued...)

Brittany's father, Michael Thompson, told WBZ-TV he does not know the man in the surveillance photo released by police.

"Brittany, if you're listening, and able to contact us, please do. We love you, and want you back," said her father. Thompson said his daughter went to the library after school Monday as part of her daily routine. She stays there until her mother or father pick her up.
