2 Men Arrested For Dealing Crystal Meth In Downtown Boston

BOSTON (CBS) – Two men were arrested Sunday after allegedly selling crystal meth to undercover Boston Police officers. Officers arrested 26-year-old Jake Decker of Melrose and 30-year-old Andrew Dreyer of Lexington as part of an ongoing investigation.

Police say officers arranged to purchase 1/8 ounce of crystal meth outside of Macy's in Downtown Crossing. The drug deal was completed, police say, as the officers and the two suspects walked toward the Boston Calling Music Festival on City Hall Plaza.

Decker and Dreyer were arrested and charged with Distribution of Class B Drugs and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Drugs.

Officers say they also recovered hundreds of pills, a drug ledger, four cell phones, a scale and two glass bongs.

The men were arraigned on Monday and released on their own recognizance. They will be back in court on November 22.
